115 years ago, the history of the prominent Royal hotel began. The very building was erected by its then owner – Ali Hadzhi Rashidov, in order to establish a luxury and aristocratic hotel to attract guests from all over the world with stylish Renaissance furnishings. The building was constructed in the French secession style and was designed by the architect eng. Nikola Lazarov – one of the most famous Bulgarian architects at the time. The design was successful and here it is, for just over a century the impressive aristocratic building continues to tower over Burov Square in the old part of the Sea Capital.

More recently, the Royal hotel has been fully restored on the outside and inside, preserving its authentic look from 1905. Inside, the atmosphere is extremely exciting, with all-Baroque furnishings and luxurious French furniture. The hotel is richly lit with breathtaking crystal chandeliers suspended above the reception, the conference room, the hallways and the luxurious guest rooms. The walls tell the history with the help of a rich collection of paintings by famous artists.
